Althaus Lisa

For me, art is a way of thinking and dealing with the world.

My artistic work serves as an instrument of research and understanding, personal expression and communication. The various visual languages and styles are indispensable information that is not congruent with language. Visual activity is never representation, but always production, even if it uses narrative means.

I am interested in the wealth of visual possibilities in all forms and its interaction with the content of a work. It is about practices of seeing, the production of meaning and the transmission of visual content.
My fields of activity include classic techniques such as drawing and painting as well as the production of objects, the creation of digital collages and artistic animation videos.
