Christen, Judith
The works of Judith Christen speak to our innermost being and touch us our soul. The numerous layers and different techniques on the images create a depth in which one should lose oneself. That's how we always recognize again new facets in her pictures, which invite to own interpretations and trigger emotions.
With many structures, papers and layers, a depth is created in the picture. The large areas are intended to create tension. With small details like lettering or characters loosens up the image.
The artist draws the basics and inspiration from the proportions, colors, shades and structures of nature.
